Robotic Welding

What Is Robotic Welding?

Robotic welding is a welding method used in industrial production in which metals are joined automatically by a robot. Robots follow pre-programmed commands — correct programming is critical to achieving accurate weld results. It can cover different welding types including MIG, TIG and surface welding.

The system consists of welding robots that perform the weld with precision, welding generators that supply the required energy, and wire feed systems that keep the process running without interruption.

Robots work at high speed and precision, increasing efficiency and product quality; they take over hazardous welding operations, raising workplace safety; and they reduce labour costs while minimising material waste. Robotic welding is the preferred choice across a wide range of industries, from automotive to metalworking, shipbuilding and aerospace.
